My name is David Johnson. I own Johnson's Automotive Service. As a parent of an EIU student I would hope you have done your due diligence as I would before entrusting my child's safety to anyone.

I know that they think they are “grown ups”, but we all know that when in a pinch they call mom or dad for help. We at Johnson's Automotive are here to help you and your kids be safe.


Every time a car comes into our service center we preform a courtesy check to check the basic safety issues at NO CHARGE. Many years ago I accepted the creed that: “I make my living fixing and maintaining cars; my job is to take care of the people that drive them”.


I am a graduate of Eastern, I am an ASE certified technician, my shop is AAA certified. I have a commitment to the industry and your families safety that is unsurpassed. I have been in your shoes, as my (very) younger sister and brother have been away in graduate and medical school. I understand the value of trust when you are hours away. I also understand the comfort of finding it. We are here to help.

There is almost no car or truck problem we can't handle. European, Asian, or American made we do it all. For over thirty years Johnson's Automotive has taken care of families and cars.
